Rashied

Bio: Rashied Davis is from Los Angeles, California. He graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Sociology. While attending San Jose State, Rashied played wide receiver, defense back, and returned kicks. From there, he went on to play for the San Jose Sabercats of the Arena Football League (AFL). During his four years with the Sabercats, the team became a dominant force, going deep into the playoffs with two of those appearances ending with the Sabercats being crowned Arena Bowl Champions. After the 2005 Arena Football League season, Rashied was picked up by the Chicago Bears as a free agent. He went on to play seven successful seasons in the NFL (one with the Detroit Lions) accomplishing many team goals along the way. Those goals include: making multiple appearances in the playoffs, winning an NFC championship and playing in the 2006 Super Bowl.

The success Rashied gained during his playing career was due to his hard work, perseverance, determination, and willingness to overcome obstacles. One of Rashied’s strong beliefs is to never let anyone believe in him more than he believes in himself. As a result, Rashied has been on a personal mission to help others reach their fitness goals and lead a healthy and active way of life. He lives by the words hope, success, determination, perseverance, and hard work. Rashied’s goal is to help his clients build confidence in the mind, body and soul. Overcoming obstacles is always a part of a person’s success. Not only is training with Rashied on the Sproing going to give you an optimal workout, it’s going to change the way you think about life.

Fun Facts

Favorite guilty pleasure: Mexican Food! Yum!!! But in moderation 😉

Best advice someone ever gave me: “Never let me believe in you more than you believe in yourself.” Terry Malley (Offensive Coordinator San Jose Sabercats)

Favorite thing about Sproing: Two Things:

  1. It’s something DIFFERENT. As a former pro athlete, I know the pain of monotonous training. The Sproing brings something new, effective and exciting to a market saturated with gimmicky tricks and equipment that give people the illusion of success. I’m excited to be able to partner with such a great product.
  2. It decreases the shock absorbed by the body due to running by up to 50%. This allows those of us with injuries to our knees, hips and backs to run sprints without having to deal with the unfortunate side effects of pain.

Thing nobody knows about me: I didn’t play high school football and started playing organized football in junior college at age 18. After many years of hard work and preservance, I was able to make it to the professional level.
